Hello my name is Chelby Vogt; I have been dancing for 20 years. I’ve been teaching dance for the last four and a half years in Pocatello, Idaho. I went to Idaho State University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in 2017.  In January of 2017, I started interning at Discovery Dance School, and within year I became a full teacher. In November of 2018 I started doing administrative work and beginning in 2020 I became a manager.  Taking what I learned in Pocatello, I've decided to branch out on my own and bring some fun to this small, but beautiful town of Rupert. 

I want to strive to create a nurturing, structured and inviting environment for students to come learn, create and fall in love with dance. With my mission  to provide a space to develop a love of dance, long lasting self- confidence, and to engage students in disciplined collaborative dance and art journeys. With performance and dedication being the primary focus for the students who enter my doors. This studio centers around people who just want to have fun while learning how to dance in a stress-free environment without the worry of competitions.

My focus for classes will be early childhood and adult students, while still having and catering to students of all ages.  The classes will be structured in a combo of genres, rotating week to week, to learn and develop new skills and to keep things fun and entertaining. My goals are to keep things small, inclusive and fun. Freeform Dance Academy is a non-competitive dance studio here to provide and teach any age student Age 2-Adult, in dance styles such as Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-hop, and Tap. I hope to eventually expand and offer classes for new moms, disabled students and couples; with Mommy and Me Creative movement and Ballroom, and more adult classes.
